Tony Moly Bbo Bbo Lip Balm Review

So if you guys don't already know now, I work at Sephora. (Sephora & Apple, actually) So when I saw these cute Lip Balms at work I was like "Those are super cute! They remind of the things I saw while living in Asia!" When I realized that they indeed originated from Asia, more specifically Korea, I was jumping up and down to say the least!

"Tony Moly! Tony Moly! Y'all this is a very popular Korean brand! And we're carrying some of their products in Sephora now!" I exclaimed that at work in loud fashion. Most people don't know about this brand so it wasn't that big of a deal to them. But it is a big deal to me!

At first I was just gonna buy one but I decided what the heck, why not buy both of them!

This lip gloss comes in adorable cases that are in the shape of kissable lips. As soon as I saw these I had a feeling they were Korean cosmetics. One of the cutest things about this lip balm is that it is called Bbo Bbo Lip Balm. Bbo Bbo 뽀뽀 means "kiss kiss" in Korean. It's kind of like the sound you make when you kiss someone on the cheek!!!! They come in two different scents/flavors. The red case is Honey scented and the pink case is Blueberry scented.

At first I wasn't sure what the scent of the red one really was. I honestly thought it smelled like baby products. Lol! But after I read online that it was actually Honey that I was smelling it made a big difference! I was like, "Oh yeah, that is Honey!"

We didn't have the Blueberry scented one right away. We only had the Honey scented one. But when I saw that we had gotten the blueberry one too I just had to get them both!

Ok! You're probably wondering, well what's in it? How are they going to benefit my lips?! Well these lip balms are infused with Vitamin E and Honey/Blueberry extracts. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, fighting against possible skin cell damage from free radicals and ultraviolet rays from the sun. Honey extracts help moisturize your lips and to retain moisture. Honey also has anti-bacterial properties and can help heal dry or chapped lips. Blueberry extracts also have antioxidants that that fight and protect you from free radicals.

Oh and did I mention that they smell good?! I'm sure I did. These are so hydrating, I've been using them every day. I'll either put it on before putting my lipstick on or I'll wear it by itself.

If you've seen these online or at Sephora, I definitely would recommend picking one up and trying them out. I guarantee you will always have these in your makeup bag and you'll most likely use these everyday! I know I have. You can buy them online here at Sephora.com or buy them at your local Sephora. If you have already tried these let me know what you think.  Until next time

Etude House Pink Box // Pink Bird Review June 2014

So I sincerely apologize. I haven't been on here like I should. I recently started two new part time jobs. One at Sephora and one at Apple. They have both been exciting and fun but at the same time I haven't had much time to update my site.

I received this Pink Box from Etude House about a month ago. I've finally been able to upload my video and write this review post.

Since my video is long (too long, sorry guys, I rambled a bit much, LOL!) I'm gonna try my best to leave this simple and sweet.

I was exciting to find a Pink Box at my doorstep and what was inside was pretty awesome. They sent me six of their Play 101 Pencils. I had seen them on Etude House's Facebook page.

Of course Etude House sent me info about all the different Play 101 Pencils they have to offer, Pony's Beauty Diary and info about her and a tutorial for a Chic Smokey Eye Look.

The first pencil #44 comes in a glittery brown copper color. In the tutorial you can use this on your entire eye lid as an eyeshadow. This pencil is perfect for a quick simple look.

The second pencil #1 comes in a creamy black color. This is to be used as your eyeliner. If you want to use it to make a winged liner I would suggest getting a precise liner brush. This liner is creamy enough to get a winged liner effect with a brush but not by itself.

The third pencil #43 is a glittery pencil and it comes in a light gold color. In the tutorial, this pencil was used in the inner corners of the eye. You can use this any way you like though.

The fourth pencil #8 is a matte pencil and it comes in a light tan color. In the tutorial you are to use it on your lips but the color was WAY too light for me. I will probably be using this as a base color before I put on my bright colors from my Urban Decay Electric Palette.

The fifth pencil #11 is a creamy pencil and it comes in a bright coral color. In the tutorial you use this color on your lips. You can also use it as a blush as well. This color was also a bit light for me so I mixed it with a couple of lip colors from my massive lipstick collection and got some great results.

The sixth and last pencil I received is a glittery pencil that comes in a gold color. You can use it as a highlight color right underneath your eyebrows. You can also use it to extenuate your cupid's bow.

I was also sent a brush and a cute water bottle from them as well.

Etude House also manages to surprise me with such cute and awesome things! If you haven't seen it already you can watch my review video here:

I really enjoyed playing with these pencils! If you want to buy them you can find them here, here and here.

Stay tuned for another Pink Bird Pink Box review coming soon. I just got one the other day and I can't wait to share it with you guys!

Until next time, Stay Sweet!

Etude House Pink Box // Pink Bird Review April 2014

Hey guys! I know it's been such a long time since I've written a blog post or done a review. I got a new job, two new part time jobs actually. So I've been super busy trying to get adjusted to my new schedule. I received a Pink Box from Etude House over a month ago. I made a video review of the products so now here is the blog review to go along with it.

The focus of this Pink Box is Etude House's Magic Any Cushion. This is a primer with SPF 34 that can either be worn under your daily makeup or it can be worn by itself.

Magic Any Cushion comes in three shades or should I say each one targets any skin issues you might be having. There is Magic Peach, Magic Pink and Magic Mint. Etude House sent me Magic Peach.

Magic Any Cushion Magic Peach is meant to brighten dull skin. It comes in a cute compact with a mirror and a pad applicator. You take the pink pad applicator and press it into the sponge applicator to get the primer out. This is the first time I've used the new sponge applicator that is so popular in Korea. It's pretty neat!

As you can see, this primer is a bit light for me if I just dab it onto my skin. If I blend it into my skin though it's a lot better. I still wouldn't wear it by itself though because it is a bit light. I have been wearing it underneath my makeup. It really is a great primer. I usually work 5-8 hour days plus my commute is usually 3 hours going and coming back so I'd say this primer does it's job.

I was also sent these three fun Play Nail Sugar Powder Polishes. #192 Peach Bubble Gum, #193 Sweet Apricot Tart and #194 Mint Macaron.

These colors are so bright and perfect for summer. The cool thing about these nail polishes is that their formula dries as a sandy texture. I've heard of nail polish like this but I had never used it before. I love it because it dries pretty quickly so if you ever need to do your nails and you're in a hurry this nail polish is great.

They also sent me this cute macaron case. You can put your Magic Any Cushion in it if you want. I keep it in my purse and put little odds and ends in it.

It's adorable isn't it?

So guys that is this Pink Box from Etude House. You can see I really enjoyed these products with all the pictures I took and what not. You can buy Etude House's Magic Any Cushion and the Play Sugar Powder Nail Polishes at these online stores:

Kollection K: Magic Any Cushion

Koko Color: Play Sugar Powder Nail Polishes

Well I hope you all enjoyed this review of these products. You can check out my review on Youtube as well.

Again I am so grateful to Etude House for sending me these awesome products to try out. Check out their Facebook page here to find out more about their products.

Have you tried any of these products yet? And if so, what do you think of them? Let me know! Until next time

XOXO Iquo

By the way I think my Baby Girl likes this polish, ya?! ^.^
