Etude House Pink Box // Pink Bird Review - Pink Wish Tree

Hey guys! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! I'm back with another Pink Box Review from Etude House! It's been super busy with all of the holidays and work on top of that, I haven't been able to do much on here and I apologize for that. 

Etude House is good for always surprising me with a Pink Box at my doorstep. 

This Pink Box Theme is Pink Wish Tree. This Pink Box is special not just because it's Christmas themed but because of what the products represent. 

For each Pink Wish item sold a portion of the product will go towards the School Me Campaign by Save The Children. For each item ₩100 will be donated. That's around $0.10 per item. I know it doesn't seem like a lot but it is. Imagine all those items being sold online and it stores. It really does add up. 

The money will go towards providing educational opportunities for girls in four different countries in Africa: Sierra Leone, Libreria, the Republic of Cote d'lvire, and Uganda. This campaign helps provide resources for girls who can't afford to be educated because of domestic duties, early marriage and poverty. This campaign hits home for me. My father is from Nigeria and I have lots of family there. They have been blessed enough to go to school but I know some kids don't have that opportunity. So this really hit home for me! I think this is a great campaign and I'm so happy to be apart of it. You can be too. And that's what's so awesome about it!

This Pink Box has a lot of great items. The first two items are cute hair ties. Red and green Christmas themed. 

The next three items are scented lip balms.  They look cute and smell amazing!

The gold tube is peach scented. Smells like a peach cobbler. Lol! 

The red tube is cherry scented. I'm not a big fan of cherries unless they're in my drink. Lol!

The last one is strawberry scented. This is probably my favorite one. It smells so good! 

These lip balms aren't very pigmented so they are great to wear when you just need some moisture on your lips or when you need your lips moisturized before you put some lipstick on. 

My lips feel nice! They look nice too don't you think?! 

A Precious Mineral Any Cushion! Yah! Lol! I was sent the W13 shade. The green compact.

Just like the other precious mineral compacts, this comes with a sponge applicator and a mirror. 

The color seems a bit light at first but it blends nicely. It's the same formula as the other precious mineral any cushions it's just packaged differently for the sake of the Pink Wish Tree Campaign. 

The last three items from this Pink Box are some lovely Play Nail Polishes. One solid color and two festive glitter polishes. I painted my moms nails because I had no chip polish on my fingers at the time.

There's the lovely Christmas red. 

There's also the festive green and red glitter polish. I like the long green glitter. It's different and fun. 

Everyone loves glitter and gold right?! These colors go great together.

When I opened this box I was ecstatic because it was filled with Honey based products! Why the excitement you ask? Well honey has many healing and beneficial properties when it comes to skincare. (Also if you eat it too! LOL!)

One of the most important things is it's filled with antioxidants. This helps prevent aging. You know how if you slice apples and leave them out, they eventually turn brown? If you allow an antioxidant to cover them (ex: lemon juice) they won't turn brown. The same with our skin. The world is full of free radicals and oxidants which make us age and cause us to have wrinkles. If we use products with antioxidants in them, we can slow this process down. 

Honey is anti bacterial so it helps with acne and prevention of acne.

It is also clarifying allowing your pores to open up and very moisturizing. (Winter is here my friends! Winter is unfortunately here!)

Alright I know. Enough of the skin care lesson and on to what's in the box!

1. MIGABEE Antipollution RE-Peeling (100ml, Full Sized, Value $37)

Product Description:

This is a peel off facial mask that is meant to nourish and brighten your skin. It contains honey, bee venom (GAH!) propolis (Bees collect this from flower buds and use it to seal their hive) It's meant to help exfoliate dead skin cells, blackheads & white heads. It's also meant to help control excess oil and sebum leaving your skin clean and balanced.

My Thoughts:

It has an alcohol smell because it's a peel. Most peels smell this way. I found it was hard to peel this off my skin. Maybe I didn't put on enough, I'm not sure. It did leave my skin feeling very smooth afterwards. I noticed my skin was a bit brighter! (Probably because it took off dead skin...eww!) You are supposed to leave it on until it dries and then peel it off.

2. Mi Click Manuka Honey Treatment (30ml, Full Sized, Value $5)

Product Description: 

This product is filled with high concentrates of honey and deeply nourishes and repairs your damaged hair ends. It provides intensive protein to your hair. It's also oil infused which will help renew damaged hair cuticles and make your hair feel silky smooth.

My thoughts:

This product smells great! It does have a very thick consistency. When it comes to my hair this product isn't going to last to long because of the amount that's given. I have very thick hair and a lot of it! I've already used it once already and about 1/3 of the bottle is gone 0_o 

It says to use leave it in your hair for 5-10 minutes and then rinse it out but I just left it in my hair. My hair sucks up moisture the way a black hole would suck up anything. LOL!

3. Enesti Apple and Honey Shea Butter Hand Cream (50g, Full Sized, Value $5)

Product Description:

 This hand cream is heavily nourishing with a honey and vitamin-rich apple formula leaving your skin nicely moisturized.

My Thoughts:

Who doesn't love hand creams? Especially if you have to battle with winter every year! This hand cream is very thick and very fragrant! It smells so good, as if honey and apple had a baby! LOL! This is perfect for those cold & dry winter months ahead of us!

4. From Nature Multi Effect Collagen Honey Mask (1 each, Full Sized, Value $1) 

Product Description:

This mask has high concentrates of real honey and collagen extracts. It delivers deep nutrition and improves your skins elasticity by creating a protective moisture barrier over your skin. It also contains 9 herbal ingredients that are meant to sooth and brighten your skin. After using toner, apply mask sheet on face and allow it to sit on your face for 15-20 min. (I usually leave mine on a little longer) Afterwards remove mask and pat addition essence on your face for full absorption.

My Thoughts:

I love love LOVE masks! Who doesn't love a good mask?! After a long day at work, it's always nice to come home and relax and watch some Netflix with a mask on. This is a mask I can't wait to try, especially because it contains Honey AND Collagen!

5. EDMONG Honeybee Water Cream (50ml, Full Sized, Value $29)

Product Description:

My Thoughts:

This product has it ALL! Look at all those extracts! Honey and green tea! You already know how great honey is for your skin! Green tea is also rich in antioxidants which help slow down the aging process. It also has anti-inflammatory properties which is good for people with sensitive skin. There's also aloe vera in it which helps repair damaged skin and keeps your skin moisturized. Another big ingredient, hyaluronic acid. it allows our skin to hold in moisture and it turn prevents our skin from aging too fast. This product is gel like and very cooling on the skin. Depending on your preference, you can use it as a moisturizer or sleeping mask. I've done both and my skin feels amazing afterwards.

6. DAYCELL Essencial Honey Lift Massage Cream (150ml, Full Sized, Value $20)

Product Description:

This is perfect for dehydrated/or sagging skin. My Thoughts:

First of all, this smells AMAZING! I couldn't stop smelling it! I love the formula of this product. I love it's thick consistency too! It is very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling sooooo soft! Especially the next day! It's gooey and stringy almost like the Bounce Cheese Cream. It might be even thicker than that actually. I love it!

7. Pure Smile Snail Lip Treatment Honey (10g Full Sized, Value $5)

Product Description:

My Thoughts:

The other day I almost spent $20+ on a lip product that would help my intense chapped lips. My lips were so chapped I couldn't even put lipstick on. I totally forgot I had this product and I'm so glad I remembered that I had it. It does wonders for your lips. It's almost like a lip mask. It's very thick in consistency and reminds me of Bite's Agave Lip Mask. It will be my life saver this winter, cuz that wind downtown in the heart of Chicago does a number on my precious lips.

Etude House Pink Box // Pink Bird Wish Lips Talk & Halloween Makeup Review

Hi guys! I'm back with another Pink Bird Pink Box Review. This box was sent to me around the end of September. The theme of this box is definitely Fall/Autumn themed. It includes the new Wish Lips Talk Lipstick and the Bloody Halloween Eye Shadow Palette.

This box came with a K Beauty Princess Manual, Volume 2. Look who's on the cover?! It's Krystal from f(x)! If you guys aren't already watching My Lovely Girl with Rain and Krystal you should start watching it! It's so good! It's one of the better K-Drama's I've watched so far! I love the fact that Krystal's character sticks up for herself and Rain is playing a character who is mature and is fitting for his age. I love it! I also love the makeup Krystal is wearing and I know she's wearing Etude House products! (I wonder if she's wearing the same shades I was sent!!!)

Along with the K Beauty Princess Manual, there's descriptions of each products that was sent to me.

This gives a brief description of the lipsticks and shows how you can wear them, as a gradient lip or full coverage lip.

Krystal looks so cute! I love her!

This is a brief description of the eye shadow palette that was sent to me. I was sent the Bloody Halloween one.

These are the different looks you can use with the shadows. There's also a lip color in the palette as well.

I love these K Beauty Princess Manuals! They show you how to rock different kinds of looks and how to get these gorgeous looks with their products.

I loved these tutorials. Chic Cat Eyes vs. Puppy Dog Eyes. I usually wear a cat eye, like everyday but maybe I'll start trying to do the puppy dog eye and switch things up a bit.

The Fantastic Color Eyes-Bloody Halloween Palette is cute and compact and yet has an array of colors in it. 

There are 5 eye shadow colors and 1 lip color. Starting from the left the light yellowish tan color is 'Pale'. It's a shimmery shadow. The lip color is called 'Zombie Kiss' and it's a dark burgundy color. The next color is a light peach color called 'Witch Hunting' and it's the only color in the palette that's matte. The next color is a a brownish maroon color called 'Funky Horror'. The next color 'Bloody Burgundy' is exactly what it sounds like, it's a shimmery burgundy. The last color is called 'Halloween Night' and it's shimmery dark brown color.

Although this is called Bloody Halloween, these colors are great to wear in the Fall (or at anytime, if you like wearing darker colors all year round) I always love making new looks with eyeshadows and this palette definitely has potential. I love that it's small and compact, so easy to put in your purse and go, especially if you need  a touch up. The palette has a mirror too which is very helpful. The lip color has a thick consistency, thicker than a gloss but has a nice pigmented color like a lipstick. 

I was also sent two lipsticks. These are a part of the new 'Dear My Wish Lips Talk' line. This formula has a soft melting texture and the colors are bright and pigmented. The two colors I was sent BE101 & PK003.

The applicator is so cute! It's got a cure bow on it! I love whipping these out of my purse. 

This color BE101 is a light beige color. It's perfect to use a nude color to wear a nude lip. 

The other color is PK003 which is a lovely darker pink lipstick.

The lipstick does go on very smoothly. It is a very creamy formula. It's actually very hydrating

The beige color is a bit too bright for my lips so I mixed it with my MAC lipstick 'Cream in My Coffee' and it looks great. I actually wore them together at my friends wedding this past weekend.

This color is gorgeous. I love a fun pink lipstick. This lipstick is so easy to put on and go. 

I was also sent samples of the Precious Mineral BB creams. I have yet to try them, but I'm sure they're great.
