Etude House Pink Box // Pink Bird Disney Princess Review

Guys I am BEYOND excited to share this Etude House Pinkbird Pinkbox with you all! So prepare yourself! I've got a lot of pictures! I'm always excited when I get a Pinkbox from Etude House but this one really had me excited because I had heard about these products online but I didn't expect them to send them to me!

A little back story, I have always loved Disney, ever since I was a little girl! Ariel was my favorite Princess but Disney as a whole always mesmerized me! So when I opened this box and saw that it was filled with Disney Princess themed products, I flipped out!!!!

I mean who wouldn't freak out with excitement by seeing these lovely products!

Of course Etude House sent product descriptions of each product.

Each product is based off a different Disney Princess! Snow White, Cinderella, Belle & Jasmine. (I wish they had an Ariel themed one too but it's ok)

Etude House also shows how to use each product, in more than one way. (Example: You can use the Snow White lipstick as a gradient lip or a full lip)

They also sent a sheet that mentions each princess and what made them so unique and special!

The first product out of the five that they sent me is the Cinderella Fairy Glitter Shadow in #1 Pink Glass Heels.

The packaging is way too cute! I love that they have Cinderella, her glass slipper and the castle on the box!

There are three different shades of this shadow. The one I was sent is obviously pink hence the name.

The texture of this shadow is unique. It's not wet but yet it glides on so smoothly. You can either use a brush or your finger to apply it.

It's such a beautiful color to wear by itself or to blend with other colors. I use the Naked palette almost everyday so I plan on blending it with colors from that palette if I want a slight smokey eye look.

The second product is Belle's Rose Cheek Blusher in Pink Shine Rose.

Look at Belle in her gorgeous dress facing her lovely castle!

I love the fact that this blush comes in a box that is shaped like a storybook. If you ever watch Beauty & the Beast (If you didn't, shame on you!) Belle was always reading books. Books books books! Beast even gave his library to her as a gift. It was filled with books. He knew that's something that she loved to do, read! So imagine my excitement when I saw this!

I cannot say enough how cute the packaging is!

This blush is a very light pink color. The blush is shaped like a rose! (HOW CUTE!!!)

Since it is a brighter shade, it's seems to be more suitable for fairer skin tones. Regardless, I still wear it! The color is perfect for Spring and Summer. I probably wouldn't wear it for the Fall or Winter....BUT I love it so much so I'm gonna try to wear as long as I can!

The third product is Snow White's Apple Red Lips Lipstick.

Look at Snow White and her Seven Dwarves! I think this is so cute!

This gorgeous red lipstick goes on effortlessly & smoothly. You can do a gradient lip or full lip with this lipstick as you saw in the earlier pictures that Etude House provided.

I love wearing red lipstick. I usually wear my signature red lip, M.A.C. Ruby Woo but this is a fun red lip to wear. It's easy to apply quickly and go.

The last two products are in the Jasmine Nail Kit. There are two colors. A teal color and a gold glitter color.

Again I love the packaging of these! I love Jasmine & Genie's (RIP Robin Williams) magic lamp silhouette.

These colors match Jasmine's outfit from the movie! I always love Etude House's nail polishes! These colors are so fun! You only need one coat and they both dry very quickly!

The nail kit came with cute nail decals as well! I love the magic lamp ones!

I put the Cinderella eye shadow on, with the Belle blush and the Snow White lipstick so that you guys could see the look of all of these together.

You can't really see the blush in the pictures unless I use the flash. You can kind of see it in this picture.

Of course you know I have to take silly pictures of myself. Why wouldn't I?!

This makeup is fun and I always enjoy the products Etude House sends me. Again I'm so thankful that I am able to review these products and share them with you all!

Some good news before I go, Etude House has an official online global store now! Those of us who don't have a Etude House store by us have been buying their products through different online stores. Now we can buy our favorite products from their official online shop!

The shop officially opens October 1st but you can buy products now if you'd like. If you sign up now you get a free face mask with your purchase.

You have no idea how excited I was when I found out about this online shop! I hope you guys are excited too!

As of right now these Disney Princess products are not on Etude House's official global online shop but I'm assuming they will be when the store officially opens. You can find some of them on Kollection K though.

You can follow Etude House on FacebookTwitter & Youtube.

If you've already tried these cute Disney themed products from Etude House let me know what you think of them! And if you haven't tried them yet I hope you can get your hands on them soon!

Until next time loves,

Tony Moly Bbo Bbo Lip Balm Review

So if you guys don't already know now, I work at Sephora. (Sephora & Apple, actually) So when I saw these cute Lip Balms at work I was like "Those are super cute! They remind of the things I saw while living in Asia!" When I realized that they indeed originated from Asia, more specifically Korea, I was jumping up and down to say the least!

"Tony Moly! Tony Moly! Y'all this is a very popular Korean brand! And we're carrying some of their products in Sephora now!" I exclaimed that at work in loud fashion. Most people don't know about this brand so it wasn't that big of a deal to them. But it is a big deal to me!

At first I was just gonna buy one but I decided what the heck, why not buy both of them!

This lip gloss comes in adorable cases that are in the shape of kissable lips. As soon as I saw these I had a feeling they were Korean cosmetics. One of the cutest things about this lip balm is that it is called Bbo Bbo Lip Balm. Bbo Bbo 뽀뽀 means "kiss kiss" in Korean. It's kind of like the sound you make when you kiss someone on the cheek!!!! They come in two different scents/flavors. The red case is Honey scented and the pink case is Blueberry scented.

At first I wasn't sure what the scent of the red one really was. I honestly thought it smelled like baby products. Lol! But after I read online that it was actually Honey that I was smelling it made a big difference! I was like, "Oh yeah, that is Honey!"

We didn't have the Blueberry scented one right away. We only had the Honey scented one. But when I saw that we had gotten the blueberry one too I just had to get them both!

Ok! You're probably wondering, well what's in it? How are they going to benefit my lips?! Well these lip balms are infused with Vitamin E and Honey/Blueberry extracts. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, fighting against possible skin cell damage from free radicals and ultraviolet rays from the sun. Honey extracts help moisturize your lips and to retain moisture. Honey also has anti-bacterial properties and can help heal dry or chapped lips. Blueberry extracts also have antioxidants that that fight and protect you from free radicals.

Oh and did I mention that they smell good?! I'm sure I did. These are so hydrating, I've been using them every day. I'll either put it on before putting my lipstick on or I'll wear it by itself.

If you've seen these online or at Sephora, I definitely would recommend picking one up and trying them out. I guarantee you will always have these in your makeup bag and you'll most likely use these everyday! I know I have. You can buy them online here at Sephora.com or buy them at your local Sephora. If you have already tried these let me know what you think.  Until next time

*disclaimer* This is not endorsed by Sephora. I bought these lip balms with my own money. I just have an obsession with Korean Beauty Products. That's all ^.^

Urban Decay Electric Palette Review

This review is LOOOONG overdue! I've had this palette for a while now. I think after wearing some of these shadows to a music festival this past weekend I decided to finally write a review.

I remember when it came out. Everyone was pretty excited about it! Some people feel like the colors are too bright to wear as everyday makeup. I understand if you're a teacher or a business woman, this palette might not be your first choice. But you can always mix these vibrant colors with more neutral colors and still get gorgeous looks.

Just like the box, the outside of the palette has very vibrant colors.

These are pressed pigments, that's why the colors are so vibrant. As you probably already know (or maybe you don't) some of the colors in the palette are not approved by the FDA. They're approved in Canada and in Europe but not here in the States. So you are to use it to your own discretion. If you have sensitive eyes I would advise not buying this palette as it might irritate your eyes and/or skin.

"Ooh! Ahh!" Isn't it gorgeous! The colors are so vibrant! These pictures do not do this palette justice!

The top colors of the palette are Revolt (silver), Gonzo (light blue), Slowburn (red orange), Savage (bright pink) and Fringe (teal)

The bottom colors are Chaos (darker, true blue), Jilted (deeper pink), Urban (purple), Freak (lime green) and Thrash (neon yellow/green).

Some of the colors are matte shadows (Slowburn, Savage, Chaos and Thrash) while the other colors are shimmer shadows (Revolt, Gonzo, Fringe, Jilted, Urban and Freak)

The palette comes with a two sided brush. I heard some people love it and some people hate it. I like it because it's good for patting on the colors. I usually pat on the colors and then use another brush to blend the colors together.

As you can see there are swatches of the colors against my arm. The colors are so bright and vibrant! I love em!

From right to left the first color is Revolt. This is a silver shadow. It's pretty but at the same time it has a lot of fallout so it's hard to wear it on it's own. I usually put it in the corners of my eyes to contrast with the other colors.

The next color is Gonzo. This is a fun bright blue color and I've had fun mixing this with the purple color Urban.

Next is Slowburn. I haven't really used this color too much. I don't know if I'm scared of orange or maybe I haven't found the right tutorial using this particular color. Regardless it's a beautiful color and I hope to use it more often.

Then there's Savage. This is a bright pink color. It's a bit brighter than it's sibling Jilted but it's still lovely. I hadn't used it much in the beginning but I'm starting to use it more now.

Lastly in this row there is Fringe. This is a teal color shadow. The pictures make it look more like a greenish color but it's not. It's more blue than green.

In this picture, the next color is Chaos. This is such a fun color to mix with Urban or even Gonzo. If you're looking for a deep, solid blue then here's your color. The pictures make it seem like it's purple. It's not! It's very blue!

Then there's Jilted. I really like this color. It's gorgeous by it's self and with other colors.

Then there's Urban, the lovely purple shadow. This is one of my favorites to be honest. Urban and Jilted are my two favorites. I love pairing these two colors together. The results are gorgeous.

There's also Freak which is a lime green color. I've dabbled with this color a little bit and the results are pretty awesome!

The last color is Thrash and it's so bright I that I haven't worn it by it's self. I have worn it with other colors and it turned out pretty well. I probably will need to experiment with this color and see if I like it by itself or not.

I know certain people might be scared of this palette but it's actually a lot of fun to play with. I've made some of my own looks up and I've followed tutorials on Youtube and have gotten some great results.

The only downside to these shadows are the fact that colors are so vibrant, they can stain your skin a bit. I have yet to get the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk but I will soon because every other primer or shadow does not create a protection barrier from my skin and the vibrant shadow. I also usually leave the shadow on for a long period of time but still it's weird taking off your makeup and seeing a pink stain on your eyes.

Other than that, I love this palette! I don't wear it everyday, no, but I like to wear these shadows at least once a week or once every two weeks. Like I said before I have mixed these shadows with more neutral colors from my Naked Palette and have gotten some nice results. Here are some of the looks I've rocked using this palette:

To get the look from these first three pictures I followed Emma Pickes tutorial here on Youtube! You guys should check out her channel! She's great!

For this look I kinda followed Adriana Luna's tutorial on Youtube. You can find that here!

This last look I know I used a tutorial but I can't seem to find it at the moment. I will make sure to post the link though so the creator can get their well deserved credit. I wore this look this past weekend at the North Coast Music Festival and had a blast with my electric eyes! LOL!

I hope you guys have enjoyed this review. You can buy this palette at Sephora, Ulta and of course UrbanDecay.com for $49.

Trust me guys, it's worth it! If you have this palette and have rocked any gorgeous looks link them below. Until next time,

xoxo Iquo
